Meet author Karen Brewster,Research Associate with the Oral  History Program at the Elmer E. Rasmuson Library, University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Karen will discuss her book entitled Boots, Bikes and Bombers: Adventures of Alaska Conservationist Ginny Hill Wood.

Ginny was not only a WASP, Class43-W4, but also co-founded and operated Alaska's first eco-tourism lodge, Camp Denali, and was one of Alaska's first female wilderness guides. 

Karen will be autographing copies of her book which will be available at the museum the night of the event or online at www.iwasm.org

This event is FREE and open to the public. Coffee and dessert will be served.
