On Saturday March 9th, 2013 from 10am-4pm IWASM will be hosting our 8th Annual 
Family Day! This year we will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Valentina Tereshkova becoming the first woman in space and the 30th Anniversary of Sally Ride becoming the first American woman in space. Join us in celebrating the life and legacy of these remarkable women with crafts, games, live performances, and more!

10:00am- All Activity Stations and Girl Scout Check-In Open (Including Bouncy House)
10:00am-12:00pm- Static Display: Cleveland Airport Fire- Rescue Truck
10:30am-12:00pm: WatchART! featured artist tables open
- Gene Epstein: folded books
- Ellie Strong: traditional binding
- Susan Kelley: collage
11:00am-12:00pm- Gatherings Kitchen will be doing a cooking demonstration of some of the foods taken into space by American astronauts. Drop in and try a sample of these savory cosmic treats!
12:00-1:30pm: WatchART! featured artist tables
- Susie Cobbledick: book repair
- Margaret Bakke: book structures with recycled materials
- Judith Angelo: lettering in altered and collaged books
1:30-4:00pm: WatchART! featured artist tables
- Clarissa Jakobsons: book structures with recycled materials

2:00-4:00pm- Static Display: Cleveland Airport Fire- Rescue Truck
2:30-3:00pm- The Great Brad Magic Show: Take a break from all the hands-on activities and take in a performance by kid friendly magician Brad Schreiber.
3:00-4:00pm- Walking Magic by The Great Brad: Miss the magic show performance, don't worry The Great Brad will be on-site until the event ends doing "walking magic" throughout the museum. Track him down for a magic trick on-the-go!
3:40pm- Bouncy House Closed
4:00pm- All Activity Stations and Girl Scout Check-In Closed
