The International Women’s Air & Space Museum offers a variety of educational materials focusing on general aviation and the contributions of women in the field of aviation and space. We would like to show your class that the history of women in aviation is more than just about Amelia Earhart and airplanes, but rather a compelling story of how women throughout the 21st century and before (yes…BEFORE!) used aviation as a tool for obtaining equality for women in air & space. Let us share the story of some of these incredible women that opened doors once shut to women.

STEM College & Scholarship Database

Part of our mission is to “document the continuing contributions of women in aviation and space today and in the future.” Therefore the International Women’s Air & Space Museum would like to present a STEM College Database highlighting colleges and universities focusing on engineering, aviation, aerospace, air traffic control, airport management, etc. Search through our STEM College & Scholarship Database  to find a school that is right for you. This database is regularly updated, check back later for more entry additions.
