Welcome to the
Joan L. Hrubec Aviation Education Center!
The Joan L. Hrubec Aviation Education Center has become a wonderful addition to the International Women’s Air & Space Museum. Your child will be able to explore and discover the wonders of aviation and aeronautics without leaving the ground! The museum offers a variety of classes for each age group focusing on aeronautics, aviation, engineering and weather. Family workshops provide an entertaining and educational way for parents and kids to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Craft hour participation is just $1 per child!
Planning Your Visit
- Admission to the Educaiton Center is FREE!
- The Education Center is open every Saturday from 11 am – 4 pm; all other times by appointment only
- All Children (regardless of age) must be supervised by an adult at all times
- Restrooms with changing areas are conveniently located nearby
- No eating or drinking is permitted in the Education Center
- Though Children of all ages are welcome activities and games are geared towards children 3 and up
- An Education Center Room Attendant is on duty at all times to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have
