The International Women’s Air & Space Museum’s next Dinner with a Slice of History installment becomes….Dinner Under the Stars! Join us at Nuevo Modern Mexican and Tequila Bar on July 11, 2026 from 7:00-9:30pm for an awe-inspiring evening as we learn about the accomplishments, and legacy, of Nancy Grace Roman, “Mother” of the Hubble Telescope.

Cynthia Calhoun, Advisor to IWASM’s Board of Trustees, and Professor B. Scott Gaudi of the Ohio State University, will share the stage as they enlighten the audience about Nancy Grace Roman’s incredible career and key planning role for the Hubble Telescope, and how Hubble has revealed galactic wonders for decades. Today, Nancy’s legacy lives on, as NASA prepares to launch the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope as early as August 30, 2026.
Nuevo Modern Mexican and Tequila Bar is IWASM’s neighbor, just down the pier on East 9th Street in Cleveland. Guests will enjoy Nuevo’s Latin-inspired cuisine, as well as a fantastic view of the city, Lake Erie, and (later into the evening) a starry night sky from the second-floor patio.
Make sure your seize your chance to enjoy a beautiful evening, support IWASM, and learn about the woman who pioneered deep-space exploration and those who continue to expand our universe, today!
