IWASM Recent Acquisitions

January 16th, Marcia Greenham delivered the memoribilia of Vi Blowers Stamm to IWASM. The donation consists of lots of air race trophies, awards, letters and photos of the USAF Thunderbirds and also of Air Force One. Vi was not only a fabulous pilot, but a seamtress that worked at Wright Patterson Air Force base. She made the flight suits for the Thunderbird teams. She also made flight jackets for Presidents Nixon, Ford, Carter and Reagan. Marcia Greenham has also donated a hat Vi made, red with a big red "99" on the brim and a framed photo of herself, Vi and three other lady pilots with "Sky King" (Kirby Grant). The photo was taken in 1975 at the Dayton Air Show.
