The International Women's Air & Space Museum is accepting applications for the Executive Director position.
Position Summary:
The Executive Director is responsible for the overseeing all facets of the museum daily operations, leading the execution of board defined goals and objectives, managing, recruiting and mentoring staff, volunteers, and interns, and works closely with the IWASM Board of Trustees and Advisors on a multitude of projects for the organization’s continued growth.

Compensation:
This position is a full-time salaried position beginning at $40,000-43,000, and commensurate with experience. The position offer offers two weeks paid time off, 10 paid holidays, and a modest professional development fund. No other benefits are provided.

Internships Opportunities:
The International Women’s Air & Space Museum offers a variety of unpaid internship positions available throughout the year. An internship at IWASM is the perfect way to gain "real world” 
experience in the museum field. Internships are available at any time during the year and are open to anyone.
Participants are expected to have a professional appearance and attitude, reliable transportation, and a willingness to try new things. Attention to details, an interest in history, and 
strong communication skills are helpful. Basic computer skills required. We offer flexible scheduling to fit around classes. Occasional evenings and/or weekends may be needed based on the specific internship placement.
